Yoko Hisatomi Lane
Technical Director
Yoko is Sophie Cockton’s senior colour expert and a highly accomplished colourist on both Asian and Western hair type. Trained in Tokyo at one of Japan’s leading hairdressing schools, Yoko has refined her style and colour skills at leading salons in Tokyo, Sydney and Hong Kong where she has adapted her superb colour technique and application to Western hair type. Yoko delivers stunning colours, subtle contrasts and consistently excellent and repeatable made-to-fit client outcomes.
Sophie Cockton
Art Director
Sophie brings over 20 years’ experience working with international brands in the UK, Australia and Hong Kong. Sophie has learnt from and worked with some of the world's most famous stylists and has developed her own unique style and technique. With an enviable client base, Sophie has become the go-to stylist for a number of traveling celebrities when they pass through Hong Kong. Sophie began her career in London and moved to Hong Kong 20 years ago where, apart from a brief spell in Sydney, she has become a mainstay of the Hong Kong beauty scene and is now widely regarded as one of Hong Kong's leading stylists.
Sophie’s unique vision allows her to not only advise her clients, but work with them to create the style they truly desire and ensure it is a collaborative effort with the client involved throughout the process. She believes transparent and honest consultation with each and every client is the basis for a great relationship.
Liam To
Technical Director
Liam is Sophie Cockton’s senior colour expert and stylist. Liam has more than 20 years’ experience originally training and honing his abundant skill at Toni & Guy in London and Hong Kong as well as working with some of Hong Kong's most well-known stylists and technicians. Dramatic colours and magnificent half-head and full-head highlights are Liam’s specialty and he has previously been trusted with numerous celebrities' hair. Testament to Liam's technical prowess, he has conducted technical training across the region in Singapore and mainland China as well as doing numerous hair shows.
